Don’t touch my books

Okay, I’m totally outraged here. A non reader is probably gonna think: What the hell is that girl on! But all of you fellow book lovers will totally get what I mean. So… as I told you in an earlier post I’d pre-ordered some books and as you probably know, the Elite by Kiera Cass has been out for a week now.

You get where I’m going with this? No? Well let me enlighten you.

I’d pre-ordered The Elite, with the underlying thought that I would be one of the many lucky girls that would find a pretty copy of the book on my doormat april 23th (maybe the same day is a bit too soon, but still as long as I got it as soon as possible after it was released). I didn’t receive my copy that day though… and I didn’t get the email that they’d sent it either. So I was like, okay, I can handle waiting a day or two. I can do that.

I still don’t have the damn book! Do you have any idea how long I’ve been waiting for the sequel to The Selection? No? Well a damn long time! Understand where I’m coming from? It’s really frustrating to see all of those reviews appear on Goodreads and many fantastic book blogs, but I can’t join the fun because I still haven’t read it!

So, basically this post is a shout out to the Dutch mailing system. I want my book! -bursts out in tears-
