Ignite Me by Tahereh Mafi | Book Review

I cannot believe that I am writing my review for Ignite Me. I really, really can’t believe that one of my most anticipated books has released! More importantly, one of my favourite series has come to an end and I’m just so sad to let it go. Ignite Me was a pretty epic ending to one of my favourite series. I went in a bit afraid that the conclusion to this trilogy wasn’t going to be what I wanted it to be, but the ending was VERY surprising and VERY Shatter Me worthy! Tahereh Mafi made me feel ALL the feels I was supposed to feel. I laughed, I cried, and I blushed. Actually I blushed a lot! For those that loved Chapter 62 in Unravel Me, there’s…

Fracture Me by Tahereh Mafi | Short Story Review

When I heard about this novella I got all excited, because I thought it would be another novella from Warner’s point of view. Now I have never made it a secret that after reading Unravel Me I came to like Warner. Unravel Me by Tahereh Mafi | Book Review

I’ve read this book a while ago!  Like a while while ago, and I felt like rereading it last week. So here I am, typing this review at last. I just LOVE Tahereh Mafi’s writing! Her writing is so captivating and it sets her apart from all other dystopian books out there.  The crossed out sentences, the word building, her beautiful prose and the repetition is just beautiful. (Am I gushing? I guess I am… but who cares! This is my blog!!) Tahereh manages to make every scene so gripping and intense. The scenes between Juliette and Adam are so believable, and I can only imagine how good of a writer you have to be in order to bring Juliette’s feelings across so utterly believable! She’s never been…

Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi | Book review

This is one of the books that I heard literally everybody talk about. Everybody write about and rave about, and to tell you the truth I wasn’t really interested. Is that really weird? It wasn’t until during #TeaTime when everybody was discussing Unravel Me, the sequel to Shatter Me, that I became intrigued. It was around the time that you could read the book for free online and after the first few chapters I purchased the book myself. I liked it, I loved Tareheh Mafi’s writing style and most of all I wanted to hold the book in my hands while reading it, free to mark the pages with colored post its that had my notes on it. When the book finally arrived at my home,…
