Pawn by Aimee Carter | Book Review

The beginning of this book was a bit typical for a dystopian. Society is divided, people face a big test when they turn 17 that will decide your position in society. When I started reading Pawn I wasn’t really sure if there was going to be anything that set this book apart from other books. Something that did interest me right away was the number/rank people get tattooed on their neck after the test to determine their place in society, the number is literally your rank and determines what you are worth. The originality came when Kitty, the protagonist, gets turned into another person altogether against her will.
