More Four!
Fans of the Divergent series by No. 1 New York Times bestselling author Veronica Roth will be thrilled by ‘The Transfer’, the first of four new short stories told from Four’s perspective.

Each brief story explores the world of the Divergent series through the eyes of the mysterious but charismatic Tobias Eaton, revealing previously unknown facets of his personality, backstory and relationships.

What-I-Thought

It is no secret that the Divergent trilogy is one of my favourite series. The wait for Allegiant seems too long and in my opinion this short story (and the others that are coming out shortly) are the perfect way to keep the fans happy and *kuch* patient.

The Transfer is really a short story (only 30 pages), but that doesn’t make it less fun to read! Since we all read Divergent from Tris’ point of view this really is a fresh view on society. Four has always remained a bit mysterious and reading this makes you understand him better.

The Transfer takes place during the days in advance of Four’s choosing ceremony and the ceremony itself. You get to know what goes through his mind, and you get to read first-hand how his father treated him. At this point Tobias is not the Four we know, he is lonely but his spirit remains. He has this fire inside him that refuses to be put out, he shows again and again how strong he is. Even when his father tries to force it out of him.

You get to know exactly how he earned his name Four and I loved his first impressions on the Dauntless -the ones we get to know better in the other books- as well! Tori, how she tries to help him, Zeke the first jumper, and Eric *shudders*

Great and fast read! A perfect little appetizer to the big and final instalment of the Divergent Trilogy!
