TTT | 2014 Debuts I’m Excited For

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created by the Broke and Bookish.

Before we go to my picks for this weeks Top Ten Tuesday lets talk about my new design! Cause, I don’t know if you noticed it, but my blog has been redesigned! All credit goes to Stephanie from Hopeless Romantics. She’s the best and really knows what she’s doing! I love the new design and still smile goofily every time I see it myself. <3

debuts 1 - 3

Summer on the Short Bus by Bethany Crandell

I know for a fact that I am not the only one highly anticipating this book! It just seems like the perfect read, and I am wanting to read it badly, hence it being on Numbero Uno on my pretty not Top Ten but Top Seven list. Besides, Bethany is a fellow Dutchie! She told me this in one of our highly awesome and secret conversations *winks* She is my fellow Dutch girl and I will always click my clogs for her *laughs.*

Side Effects May Vary by Julie Murphy

This book sounds so fresh! I mean, totally original and super promising. I can’t wait to read this book, and I really hope that it’ll live up to my imagination (and my imagination is EPIC!).

Faking Normal by Courtney C. Stevens

I don’t even have to explain this pick to you anymore… because it has been on probably every Top Ten Tuesday list of mine. I pre-ordered quite some time ago and I can’t wait for it to be February 25th.

debuts 4 - 6

The Murder Complex by Lindsay Cummings

I all kinds of excited looking at this cover and when I think about reading this book! Unfortunately, we have a while to go before this one releases *sighs*

No One Else Can Have You by Kathleen Hale

Yes, I know I can read this one already… though I haven’t yet, so I included it nonetheless! *sticks out tongue* I already only have 7 picks for this top ten Tuesday and I’m not going to make it any worse by leaving this pretty one out! ;)

Far From You by Tess Sharpe

I don’t really think I have to explain this one either… Lots of people probably picked it for todays Top Ten Tuesday, so I’m leaving out my reason and am just going to tell you that I desperately want to read it!

debuts 7 copy

Yeah, this one doesn’t have a cover yet *sad face* though I have a feeling its going to be a very pretty cover! I think this book sounds so very promising and I can’t wait to see the cover and for it to release!

YES to The Murder Complex and Side Effects May Vary, they are on my list too and I’m so excited for them. I actually have a lot of debuts I’m waiting on this year, my list has 16 debuts. Oops. But somehow I still managed to forget Faking Normal. I cannot believe myself! I’m really excited for that one too!
I actually hadn’t heard of Summer on the Short bus before (how did this happen?!) so I must go check this out on Goodreads. How awesome that she’s a fellow Dutchie!

She’s actually 3/4 dutch and lives in America, but it totally counts in my opinion! ;)
16 debuts! I could’ve borrowed some of yours then, lmao. Cause I only have 7. Ah well..
*wags a finger* you forgot Faking Normal, that’s bad! Very bad!
I’m flying over to your blog as we speak, to check out that endless list of yours *hug*

Covers will be the death of me! I swear they will, I get persuaded to by books because of the cover all the time. If there’s a pretty and shiny cover in sight I immediately want it haha

  4. 14/01/2014 / 22:35

The new design is adorable :D! Side effects may vary sounds like a very good and touching story. I can’t wait for The murder complex and hope it will be as action-paced and scary as the blurb promises. So excited for Snow like ashes!

Your new design is beautiful, Iris! It’s so delicate. Steph is amazing, isn’t she? She helped me code my design, and she did such a great job!

I’m looking forward to Side Effects May Vary and Far From You, too! I hope you enjoy No One Else Can Have You more than I did though. The first half was good, but it all went downhill for me after that. :(

    • Iris
      16/01/2014 / 14:21

I’m glad you like it! (I do too! haha) Yeah Steph is amazing! She immediately got what I wanted to go for and she truly did a brilliant job!

Aw, I’m sorry you didn’t like it more… I hope it’ll live up to my expectations! And if not, well, there’s tons of other great books around!

      Thanks for stopping by! :D

  13. 16/01/2014 / 06:40

Thanks again Steph! <3 You've been a great help and I'm really grateful!
